The supports for a “bunny hop” have been installed at the new Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift roller coaster in Universal Studios Florida. The coaster replaces Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.
Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift Construction

Photos shared on X by @bioreconstruct show the curving “bunny hop” element. It’s at the base of the recently installed spike tower.

Track has yet to be installed for the bunny hop. The blue element on the ground next to the gray track is another stretch of the bunny hop supports.

There’s a gap in the vertical supports below the bunny hop, apparently, so equipment can pass underneath it, both for ongoing construction and future maintenance. The bunny hop is a series of small hills, which guests will “hop” over before heading up the 170-foot spike.

The nearby walls were recently repainted to match the repainted entrance of Universal Studios Florida. There are still frames for future billboards.

On top of the right wall is a stage light to illuminate Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift.
Fast and Furious: Supercharged will close in 2027, ahead of the new coaster’s opening. The first version of Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift will open at Universal Studios Hollywood this year.
