Pixar shared new details and artwork from their upcoming film Gatto at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on Friday, June 26.
Gatto Details

The new art features Nero the cat walking along a rooftop in front of a full moon.
According to Nexus Point News, the movie is 50% complete and utilizes brushstroke effects on the characters. 2D-inspired events like watercolor are being used with reflectors on the water. It’s described as “like walking into a painting.”
Characters include the pigeon Saverio, who is a member of the union of pigeon rights and is voiced by director Enrico Casarosa.
Nero, voiced by Mark Ruffalo, wants to leave behind his life of mischief but must complete one last job by stealing a violin. Things go wrong when he forms a relationship with the violin’s owner, Maya. The two have a lot in common, including a love of opera.
Gatto is in theaters on March 5, 2027. Watch the teaser below:
