A new Disney Channel Animation short puts the spotlight (literally) on Experiment 624, better known as Angel.
Angel Takes the Stage in How NOT To Draw

Disney Channel Animation on YouTube has released a new installment of How NOT To Draw, this time starring Angel from the Lilo & Stitch franchise.
The short, titled Angel Cartoon Comes to Life!, features an animator voiced by Liamani Segura as she attempts to draw Stitch’s pink “boojiboo” and set the stage for a concert.

Like previous entries in the parody drawing tutorial series, the video begins as an art lesson before the animated character takes over the scene.

Angel is drawn into a performance-ready setting, but the short quickly turns into another chaotic How NOT To Draw adventure as she prepares for her big musical moment.

Stitch also appears in the short, joining the setup as Angel’s #1 fan, of course.
Angel first appeared in Lilo & Stitch: The Series as Experiment 624. Created by Jumba Jookiba, she was designed with a siren song that could turn rehabilitated experiments back to evil, with the effect reversed when the song was sung backward.

Over time, Angel became one of the most popular experiments in the franchise, thanks in part to her relationship with Stitch and her later characterization as an intergalactic singer.
The timing of the new short lines up with the larger Stitch celebration around June 26, commonly recognized by Disney as 626 Day in honor of Stitch’s experiment number.
How NOT To Draw has previously featured a wide range of Disney characters, including Figment, Winnie the Pooh, and several Disney Channel original characters. The recurring format lets Disney characters interrupt, derail, and usually overwhelm what begins as a simple animation tutorial.
