Oogie Boogie Bash Will Not Offer Frightfully Fun Parade in 2026 Due to Construction at Disney California Adventure

There will be no Frightfully Fun parade during Oogie Boogie Bash in 2026 due to construction. Instead Disney will host Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party.

No Frightfully Fun Parade

Missing from the confirmed Oogie Boogie Bash entertainment is the Frightfully Fun Parade, which took place twice each night of the party in previous years.

Instead, Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party will take its place.

At select times throughout the evening, Ichabod Crane will run around the park, evading the Headless Horseman, who typically led the parade.

Frightfully Fun Parade also included Mickey and Minnie, characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Haunted Mansion, and Disney Villains. We will likely see a lot of the same thematic elements from The Haunted Mansion float in the new street party.

The absence of the parade is likely due to construction, and this could last for a few party seasons as construction ramps up on the new Coco-themed attraction in Pixar Pier, right next to one of the parade gates. Construction is also imminent in Hollywood Land on a new Avatar area and ongoing in Avengers Campus, framing the other parade gate.
