Cars Land and Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure will get seasonal attraction overlays again for Halloween 2026. Plus, other fall and Halloween entertainment will be available in the park.
Halloween Attraction Overlays
Radiator Springs will become Radiator Screams, complete with “car-achnids,” a “pump-kin” patch, and residents dressed in their favorite “car-stumes.” Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree becomes Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree while Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters becomes Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween.
Supernatural spirits will also take over Cars Land each evening for a haunting “Sha-BOO” moment, where the neon lights flicker on and illuminate the roads.
At Avengers Campus, beginning in the late afternoon each day, Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark takes over the Collector’s Fortress in Avengers Campus. Team up with Rocket to distract monsters on the loose and save Groot.
Mickey’s Trick and Treat
Little ones can dance to Halloween tunes with Mickey and Friends during “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” at the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land, beginning August 18.
Plaza de la Familia
Guests can also celebrate Día de los Muertos with nods to Pixar’s Coco at Plaza de la Familia from August 21 through November 2, 2026. Storytellers will bring Coco songs like “Remember Me” and “The World Es Mi Familia” to life. Plus, there will be live mariachi music at the Paradise Garden Bandstand.
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
Search for character pumpkins in Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney District with this annual scavenger hunt. Guests can purchase a special activity map from retail locations throughout the resort, then redeem it for a keepsake prize.
Confirmed entertainment for Oogie Boogie Bash has also been announced but the Frightfully Fun Parade will not take place during the event this year. See Mickey and Minnie’s Halloween costumes for Disneyland Park.
