Guests can enjoy the Mickey’s Trick and Treat stage show at Disney California Adventure during the 2025 Halloween season.
Mickey’s Trick and Treat Stage Show

Mickey’s Trick and Treat debuted in 2019, originally as an Oogie Boogie Bash-exclusive show. This is its second year part of daily operations, available for all non-party guests to watch. It’s in the Disney Theater, temporarily replacing Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!

The show utilizes video projections behind the characters, bubbles, and special effects. It features two original Halloween songs. It’s hosted by Mickey and Minnie’s friend, Parker, who is dressed as a mad scientist for Halloween.

Parker leads guests in a brief refrain about candy before Mickey and Minnie arrive. The mice are in matching starry costumes, Mickey dressed like Dracula and Minnie as a witch.

They sing one of the new songs, inviting guests to dance along. The background displays some of the lyrics and corresponding visuals.

Mickey struggles to tell a scary story, but Parker helps, transporting them to a graveyard and then a scary castle (with Chernabog on a distant mountain). Minnie introduces butterflies when things get too scary.

Goofy emerges from the castle dressed as a mummy. He jokes that because they’re in Hollywood, he’s his own “wrap party.”

Goofy gets scared by the prospect of a scary story but the others remind him that there will be candy at the end.

Donald hears about candy and arrives, dressed as a werewolf. But he also tries to leave when he hears about a scary story.

Everyone sings about candy again and then catches Goofy and Donald up on the scary story.

Inside the castle, Parker plays the part of a mad scientist brewing a potion. They conjure bats.

Frightened, Mickey and Friends run away. But they get scared again by spiders, and then ghosts!

Mickey and Minnie scare Goofy, Donald, and Parker by dressing as ghosts but Parker sees through their ruse.

He removes Mickey’s and Minnie’s sheets. Then it’s time for one more candy dance, this time with the full song.

When the song concludes, confetti goes off.

Guests actually receive candy as they exit the theater.
