As Spider-Man knows all too well, life is better with friends! So it’s a good thing we’ll see even more Marvel superheroes in the forthcoming Spider-Man Land at Shanghai Disney Resort

According to Disney, Spidey isn’t the only Marvel character who will soon be dropping in at Shanghai Disney Resort. While we don’t have any specifics, they noted that, in addition to the Spider-Man-themed coaster, guests can experience “Spider-Man and friends-themed shopping, food and beverage, and entertainment experiences.”

That means we’ll be seeing even more superheroes at the park!

The roller coaster was confirmed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2024. While we do not have many details about the attraction, Disney has shared the following description after its announcement at D23:

Peter Parker has gotten himself — and us — in a bit of a tight spot. We’re going to follow HIM – at very high speeds – to get us out of trouble.

Spider-Man Land at Shanghai Disney Resort

The new land officially broke ground with a ceremony held on May 19, 2025. Leaders from Shanghai Disney Resort and shareholder representatives were there to celebrate the groundbreaking on the new land, which will be located adjacent to Zootopia.
