Pirates of the Caribbean is receiving new queue painting as part of its ongoing refurbishment. The attraction has been closed since early May.
Pirates of the Caribbean Refurbishment Update

During our June 2 visit to the Disneyland Resort, we noticed a crew member was working in the queue to Pirates of the Caribbean.

Underneath the railings for the queue, the alternating pattern of tan- and terracotta-colored segments looked brighter, suggesting they were just repainted.

Tarps have been taped down on the ground beneath the ledges to avoid paint spillover, and there are several buckets in the area where the crew member was actively working.
Pirates of the Caribbean has been closed since early May for refurbishment. There is still currently no reopening date as of this writing. For more information about refurbishments and closures at the Disneyland Resort, check out our dedicated page here.
