Work is moving along on what looks to be an expansion of the security kiosk at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

Disney’s Wilderness Construction Update

New photos from the resort entrance show additional vertical and horizontal framing now installed by the existing security structure.

The work area remains blocked off by chain-link fencing and green construction scrim, which we first spotted back in April alongside other construction projects at the resort.

The new framing extends from the existing security building, however there is a gap between the framing and the existing structure.

The red-orange beams now rise above the scrim, making the expansion easier to spot from the road.

Disney has not announced full details about the final scope of the security kiosk project. Based on the current framing.

We’ll continue to monitor the project, in addition to other ongoing work around Wilderness Lodge, for further updates.
