Crews have started ripping up concrete in front of the security kiosk at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and torn up the old boards on the resort’s boat dock.

Wilderness Lodge Security Kiosk Construction

The security kiosk will reportedly be expanded. While all lanes are currently open, there is fencing covered in green scrim directly behind the kiosk. A construction vehicle is parked behind the fencing and we saw several crew members working. It was clear through the scrim that much of the pavement has been torn away.

Wilderness Lodge Dock Refurbishment

Meanwhile, the boardwalk leading to the resort’s dock has been partially dismantled. Crew members have removed the flooring from most of the boardwalk and the dock itself to replace it with new boards.

They had old boards leaning against the boardwalk’s railing.

The dock will be closed through May 1 but the refurbishment will continue through late July.
