The boat dock at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is now closed as refurbishment work continues throughout the resort.
Wilderness Lodge Painting

Painting moved to the main building’s south wing a few weeks ago. The trees in front of this wall have grown in more, however, and it’s harder to see changes.
Around the side, we did see another column stripped of old paint, ready for new wood staining.

There’s scaffolding for more paint work directly behind the lobby. All construction areas are currently blocked off to guests.
Wilderness Lodge Dock Refurbishment

The resort’s dock is now closed for routine maintenance. Though the refurbishment work is expected to continue through late July, boat transportation will only be suspended through May 1.
We saw several crew members working on the dock during our recent visit. They appeared to be installing new wooden planks and/or removing old ones.

The boardwalk leading to the dock is blocked by a construction wall. A sign on the wall, and A-frame signs throughout the resort, state that boat transportation is unavailable. They instruct guests to use bus service instead.
