There is now scaffolding covering an exterior wall of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge as crews continue to repaint and refurbish the resort.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Refurbishment

The scaffolding reaches to the top of this wall at the end of the lobby building’s southern wing. No guests are booked in nearby rooms during construction.

The adjacent sidewalk is closed and blocked with green barriers. We saw a lift that crew members will use to reach the higher portions of the building for painting.
A few weeks ago, there was scaffolding at the end of the north wing for similar work. Below is the north wing after repainting was complete.

As you can see, there are no thematic changes. Columns across the building were also repainted.
The exterior refurbishment is scheduled through late 2026. The resort’s security kiosk will also be expanded and the boat dock will soon go through maintenance.
