Tokyo Disneyland announced a new finale tag for their “Reach for the Stars” nighttime spectacular, which comes to an end in September. The finale will include drones, a first for Tokyo Disneyland.

“Reach for the Stars: Everlasting Dreams” will follow the main “Reach for the Stars” show from July 2 to September 14, the final day of the spectacular.

“Everlasting Dreams” will feature various characters from the show projected onto Cinderella Castle set to music with drones soaring above the castle for the first time. The epilogue will be about five minutes long.

Tokyo Disney Resort notes that depending on weather conditions, the drone performance may be changed or the show may be canceled.

For the opening of Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea, there was a one-time-only drone show and Tokyo Disney Resort has hosted drone shows at fireworks festivals throughout Japan, but there has never been a regular drone show in the parks.

“Reach for the Stars” premiered in 2024. The 20-minute show features projections, lights, pyrotechnics, and an original theme song, bringing Disney “characters to life as they soar through the night sky in pursuit of their dreams.” It marked the first appearance of Marvel characters in Tokyo Disney Resort entertainment.
