Tokyo Disney Announces End Date of ‘Reach for the Stars’ Projection Show

Tokyo Disney Resort has revealed the end date of the “Reach for the Stars” castle projection show that debuted in 2024.

A nighttime display at Tokyo Disneyland features illuminated fireworks and light projections on Cinderella Castle.

The last day to see “Reach for the Stars” will be Monday, September 14, 2026.

The 20-minute projection show on Cinderella Castle also features lights, pyrotechnics, and an original theme song. It brings Disney “characters to life as they soar through the night sky in pursuit of their dreams.”

Flying characters depicted via projections include Tinker Bell, Hercules, Pegasus, Dumbo, Carl Fredricksen in his house, Aladdin and Jasmine on the Magic Carpet, WALL-E and Eve, Baymax and Hiro, and Woody and Buzz Lightyear.

The show was notable for including Marvel characters like Iron Man and Captain Marvel, marking the first-ever appearance of Marvel characters in Tokyo Disney Resort entertainment.
