The Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop at Disney Springs will be renovating its current home location and temporarily relocating to the Town Center area. A permit has been filed for new signage.

The permit contracts Dynamic Aspects for “signage.” The company is a Florida state licensed contractor specializing in sign and lighting projects. The permit doesn’t imply that it will be new signage or just refurbishing a current sign. It expires in one year.

This upcoming refurbishment, which begins sometime this summer, will add to the spot’s indoor seating, help reduce wait times, and add some unannounced surprises for guests. While the shop is under refurbishment, it will move to a temporary location in Town Center.

It will reopen in Spring 2027.
