The collectible coin machine outside in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom is deteriorating so rapidly that it needs to be replaced.

The wood-paneled collectible coin machine is falling apart. From seams coming undone to missing pieces of wood, the machine is quickly becoming a hazard in the area designed in part for some of the youngest guests at Walt Disney World.

Pieces of the wood covering are splintering off around the machine, including near the bottom within reach of young guests.

Near the top of the machine, several pieces of the paneling have split or come off the body of the machine itself. There is a lot of paint separation too, indicating that more water damage is inside the panels.

New collectible coin machines are being installed throughout Walt Disney World right now. We suspect, given the hazardous nature of the one in Storybook Circus, that replacing this one won’t be far behind.
