Disney Cruise Line has committed to 15 years of sailings to Alaska’s Icy Strait Point in an agreement with Huna Totem Corporation (HTC).

The 15-year agreement secures preferential access and ensures Disney Cruise Line guests will continue to visit the Indigenous-owned destination through at least 2041.

Icy Strait Point is in Hoonah, Alaska on Chichagof Island. The destination offers visitors an authentic connection to Huna Tlingit culture alongside wildlife viewing and outdoor recreation. It is the largest employer in Hoonah and was developed by HTC to curate authentic Alaska experiences that uplift the community’s people and inspire visitors.

The Disney Wonder and Disney Magic make Alaska sailings in the summers. Select seven-night itineraries on both ships feature calls at Icy Strait Point.

The agreement secures Disney Cruise Line preferential docking at Icy Strait Point for one vessel each week and includes a minimum annual passenger guarantee.

The Disney Cruise Line fleet currently consists of eight ships: Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, Disney Destiny, and Disney Adventure. Five more are in the works, including Disney Believe, so there will be a total of 13 by 2031.
