Aerial photographer @bioreconstruct has shared new photos of the ride being built at Universal Studios Florida.
Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift Construction Update

In the aerial photos shared by @bioreconstruct on X today, we could see the construction progress for the launch track and station buildings. On the second building for Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, a blue structural frame is being added. A similar looking blue frame can be seen alongside the track going into the building.

Zooming out a bit, we can see two blue tracks. The lower track is for the launch at the start of the ride, while the upper track is for returning trains.

This photo provides a look at a platform along one of the brake runs, where the track is heading towards the station to unload guests.

These photos show both tracks again, where the higher track is returning, while the lower track is for the launch. Construction continues to progress in the station areas as well, where piles of dirt and materials can be seen.

This zoomed-out photo shows the entire construction progress at the station building.

In our previous construction updates, we could see more track installation occurring along the large curves, as well as the 170-foot-tall spike being “topped off,” signaling the completion of the tallest point of a structure. The “topping off” was marked with an American flag and a Fast & Furious 25th anniversary flag, as the first film was released in 2001.
Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift replaces Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and is expected to open in 2027. One version of the coaster, however, will open soon at Universal Studios Hollywood.
