Walt Disney Imagineering has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the script for the new Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run Mandalorian mission.

In the video, Riley – Senior Story Lead for Walt Disney Imagineering – shared the multi-step process that went into the nearly 80-page-long script. Once the team figured out the main story goals for the mission, she could start working on creating the dialogue. The timing of visual and interactive elements in the ride was also considered for the script.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – Mandalorian and Grogu Version

The new mission featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu arrived at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland in May, corresponding with the theatrical release of The Mandalorian and Grogu. Guests can pick one of three routes: Bespin, Coruscant, and the Death Star wreckage above Endor. There’s even a secret Grogu mode as well.
