King Arthur Carrousel Reopens at Disneyland Resort

One of Disneyland’s opening day attractions has reopened after being temporarily closed for refurbishments.

King Arthur Carrousel Reopens

King Arthur Carrousel temporarily closed earlier this month for refurbishments, with no opening date announced at that time.

But during our visit to Disneyland today, July 17, we noticed that King Arthur Carrousel was open again, with people waiting in the queue outside to ride the attraction, suggesting the refurbishments are complete.

The carousel was originally built for Sunnyside Beach Park in 1922 before relocating to Disneyland in 1954 for the 1955 opening. It is themed after The Sword in the Stone, as noted by the statue of the sword in the stone in front of the carousel.
