Spider-Man is swinging from the comic-book page to fans’ wrists with a new limited-edition watch from Citizen.
Citizen Spider-Man Swings Eco-Drive Watch – $525

Released ahead of National Spider-Man Day on August 1, the new “Spider-Man Swings” watch features original artwork created exclusively for Citizen by acclaimed Marvel comic-book artist Adam Kubert.
Kubert is a veteran comic book artist and member of the celebrated Kubert family, whose extensive Marvel history includes acclaimed work on Wolverine, Uncanny X-Men, The Incredible Hulk, Ultimate X-Men, Ultimate Fantastic Four, and Avengers.
Kubert’s Spider-Man credits include illustrating the six-issue Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine limited series and parts of Chip Zdarsky’s Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man. Kubert is currently collaborating with writer Jonathan Hickman on Marvel’s five-issue Spider-Man: Long Way Home, which teams the web-slinger with the Hulk and Punisher. (Sound familiar?)

The gray dial is designed as a dynamic comic panel brought to life. An embossed Spider-Man swings over a stylized New York City skyline, reaching forward while a luminous white web trails across the lower portion of the display. Red and blue accents highlight the hero against the predominantly gray, black, and white cityscape.
Spider-Man’s webbing produces a three-dimensional effect and glows in low-light conditions. The hour and minute hands, hour markers, and Citizen branding are layered over the illustration without substantially obscuring Kubert’s artwork.
“THWIP,” the iconic comic book sound effect associated with Spider-Man firing his web-shooters, is incorporated into the dial near the 2 o’clock position. A larger “THWIP” graphic is also engraved on the caseback as a less-visible Easter egg for fans.

The watch is housed in a 43mm gray ion-plated stainless steel case and paired with a matching black stainless steel bracelet. It uses a fold-over clasp with push buttons and is protected by an impact- and shatter-resistant mineral crystal. The design also incorporates Citizen’s signature Eco-Drive technology, allowing the watch to draw power from natural or artificial light. This eliminates the need for routine battery replacements or winding.
Similar to many Disney and Marvel Citizen watches, the heart of the piece is the featured artwork, so the only complication on the dial is a date window near the 3 o’clock position.

As a bonus, the limited-edition set also includes a rectangular collectible pin replicating Kubert’s dial artwork. Spider-Man, the skyline, white webbing, and “THWIP” lettering all return on the pin in clean view.
Only 1,500 sets will be produced worldwide. The “Spider-Man Swings” watch is currently available through the Citizen website while supplies last.
The release arrives just in time for the release of Spidey’s next major installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Tom Holland returns as Spider-Man / Peter Parker alongside Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle / Punisher, Michael Mando as Mac Gargan / Scorpion, and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / Hulk.
Tickets are now on sale for the film, which premieres on July 31, 2026.
