Disney Halloween 2026 Dates
Disney Halloween at Tokyo Disney Resort will be from September 16 through October 31.
The Villains’ Halloween “Into the Frenzy”
The Villains’ Halloween “Into the Frenzy” will be performed once daily on the Tokyo Disneyland parade route. It’s about 45 minutes.
The parade features six floats with characters like Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog, Cruella de Vil from One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Captain Hook from Peter Pan, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, Jafar from Aladdin, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and more.
Dr. Facilier leads the parade on a float that acts as the entrance to the Disney Villains’ party. During show stops, the Villains and Mickey & Friends dance to energetic music. Flames and smoke erupt from a float.
The show stops will be in the Westernland and Fantasyland area, the Plaza, Tomorrowland, and Toontown area.
Daiwa House Industry is still the show’s sponsor this year. Daiwa also sponsors Stitch Encounter in Tokyo Disneyland and Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey in Tokyo DisneySea.
Tokyo Disneyland Halloween Decorations
The Mickey flower bed at the park entrance will be Halloween-themed. Thorns and vines will adorn World Bazaar. At the center of the entrance area will be a Mickey-inspired pumpkin photo spot.
Around Cinderella Castle will be banners featuring Disney Villains. In Toontown, there will be pumpkin and ghost decorations.
Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare”
The Haunted Mansion will be transformed for the season into Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare,” Tokyo Disney Resort’s version of the Haunted Mansion Holiday “The Nightmare Before Christmas” overlay. This will be in place from September 15, 2026 through January 7, 2027. As a note, this is a few days sooner than the attraction overlay closed this past Halloween season.
Halloween Harbor Greeting
At Tokyo DisneySea, the 15-minute Halloween Greeting in Mediterranean Harbor will be performed twice daily. Mickey, Minnie, Duffy, ShellieMay, and more characters will appear in their Halloween costumes on a decorated boat featuring a Jack-o’-Lantern. Guests can join in with a trick-or-treat-themed dance.
Tokyo DisneySea Halloween Decorations
New pumpkin decorations will appear at the park entrance. Murals of Mickey and Minnie in costumes will be painted near the Palazzo Canal. In the New York area of American Waterfront, there will be pumpkin decorations.
Trick or Treating
Cast Members with light-up buckets will pass out candy to guests who say, “Trick or treat!”
Night High Halloween Fireworks
This nighttime spectacular includes fireworks and music across both parks.
The D-Groovationz4 Live: Happy! Funky! Groovy! Tour
Starting September 30, check out performances by The D-Groovationz4 who present arrangements of beloved Disney songs as well as new original songs. In addition to the 16 performers, there are also featured characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Vanellope, and Baymax.
This show, performed four or five times daily, lasts 25 minutes and takes place at Showbase.
Autumn Surprise! Featuring Duffy & Friends
Starting August 25 through November 1, Duffy and his pals will be part of an Autumn Surprise event. Guests can enjoy the story of all the friends surprising each other for Halloween and the themed merchandise and food.
Halloween Food & Beverage
Special menus will be available at both parks starting on September 15.
Several special menus will also be available during the event at Refreshment Corner and Sweetheart Cafe at Tokyo Disneyland as well as Lookout Cookout at Tokyo DisneySea. Plus, you can enjoy maple pumpkin churros at multiple locations.

Treats themed after Captain Hook and Ursula will also be available.
Halloween Merchandise
Special Halloween merchandise will be available beginning on September 15. Here is a sneak peek of some items:
Similar to the food, the only information we have so far for this year’s Halloween merchandise from Tokyo Disney Resort is the promotional photo above. We will update once we have more to share.
Costumes
Guests can dress up in Disney character costumes at both parks from September 15 through 30, and October 16 through 31. Guests must follow costume guidelines, including:
- Guests in costumes other than those listed on the special web page as characters from eligible films and other works will not be admitted.
- Guests may not be allowed to enter the park if their costume does not follow the above or goes against park safety or costume policies.
- A changing space is not available at Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea. Guests must dress up and apply make-up at home or at their place of stay before visiting, or use the changing space at Ikspiari, which will be available for guests to use for a fee. Guests are asked to refrain from using the restrooms, multi-function restrooms, or storage locker areas both inside and outside the park for changing clothes.
- Guests may be required to remove parts of their costume during shows if they block other guests’ views.
Lazos de la Familia
The Coco-inspired Lazos de la Familia celebration is returning this year and will be in Lost River Delta at Tokyo DisneySea from September 15 through November 2 to honor Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). According to the Tokyo Disney Resort Instagram, this area will be expanded from the first iteration last year.

There will be colorful decorations, including skull banners and marigolds on the Puente Buena Vista bridge. Entertainment will include mariachi music and dance performances.

Guests can also meet Miguel, who will have an outfit change in the afternoon and reappear as his skeleton version.

At Yucatan Base Camp Grill, special menu items will be available. That includes the Tortilla Cheese Dog, seen above, as well as a Pan de Muerto (with Orange), which was served last year as well.
Coco merchandise will be available in both parks and in Miguel’s El Dorado Cantina.
Disney Hotels
The restaurants at Disney Ambassador Hotel, Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel will include special Halloween menu items highlighting seasonal autumn ingredients. These are available from September 15 to October 31.
Some dishes at Disney Ambassador Hotel will come with exclusive charms or coasters.
Additionally, at Silk Road Garden at Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta guests can enjoy a special Autumn Surprise! themed menu highlighting Duffy and friends.
Disney Resort Line
Limited-time day passes for the Disney Resort Line Monorail will feature Disney Halloween designs.
Souvenir Halloween coins will also be available.
Ikspiari
The Ikspiari shopping and dining complex near Maihama Station will also be decked out in Halloween decorations from September 16 through October 31. Guests can also watch a screening of Coco at Cinema Ikspiari for a limited time as well.
