In honor of the November release of “The Marvels,” Spider-Bots are going higher, further, faster with the debut of a new Captain Marvel-themed tactical upgrade.
We spotted the Captain Marvel-inspired armor at World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort.
Captain Marvel Spider-Bot Tactical Upgrade – $24.99
The upgrade does not include a Spider-Bot, which can be purchased separately at Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure, as well as on shopDisney.
The new Captain Marvel Spider-Bot upgrade continues the tradition of the Worldwide Engineering Brigade’s creation of armor tied to the release of new Marvel films. In the past, we’ve seen designs inspired by “Thor: Love and Thunder” and “Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.”
Fans of “The Marvels” or the 2019 film “Captain Marvel” will recognize the design of this upgrade — it features the signature red, blue, and gold colors of Captain Marvel’s iconic suit.
The set includes 11 attachments that connect to an existing Spider-Bot. We have a feeling Captain Marvel’s biggest supporter, Kamala Khan, would be first in line to pick one up.
Each armor kit comes with its own unique set of skills and functions. True to Captain Marvel’s powers, this one has a photon blast accessory and a projector shield. It features an unlimited standard blaster that upgrades battle gameplay. Fun Fact: This upgrade was invented by Lunella Lafayette — also known as Moon Girl.
Will you be picking up this upgrade for your Spider-Bot? Let us know in the comments.
