Blizzard Beach is scheduled to be closed on Thursday, November 23, and Friday, November 24. It is expected to reopen on Saturday, November 25, but that could change depending on the weather.

The current Thursday forecast for Orlando (via Weather.com) sees a high of 71° and a low of 58°, with cloudy conditions. Friday is expected to have a high of 69° and a low of 59°, with some showers. Saturday may be cloudy in the morning and sunny in the evening, with current temperature predictions of 76°/60°.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park reopened on November 6, 2023, and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park closed for the season. Check out our photo report from the Blizzard Beach re-opening.

The two water parks have been alternating operations since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Blizzard Beach is usually open from November to March. Closures due to weather, particularly cold temperatures and lightning, are not uncommon. In 2022 and early 2023, Blizzard Beach had to close several times due to cold temperatures. It closed early on November 16, 2023, due to significant rain. More closures are likely later in the winter.
