Since the World Discovery liquid layer splash pad reopened in EPCOT, a sign listing the activity’s rules has been installed.
World Discovery Liquid Layer
The Liquid Layer underwent a three-week refurbishment and reopened in November with a new blue color scheme and red columns around it.
The sign is to the back left of the splash pad, within a planter. It’s red and black, matching other World Discovery signage.
These are the liquid layer rules:
- No food or beverages in pool or on pool wet deck.
- No glass 50 feet from unfenced pool wet deck.
- Capacity: 20 persons.
- Children under the age of 12 must have adult supervision.
- Do not swallow the fountain water, it is recirculated.
- Do not use fountain if you are ill with diarrhea.
- For safety, diaper age children must wear swim diapers.
Similar rules are posted in Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana,” a new walkthrough water attraction across the park in World Nature.
