Shrek's Swamp for Little Ogres

Shrek’s Swamp for Little Ogres is located in the new DreamWorks Land, opening June 14 at Universal Studios Florida. DreamWorks Land replaces Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone, which closed permanently in January 2023.

Shrek's Swamp for Little Ogres welcome sign

The area has four slides, a playground, and wet play areas. Guests under 48 inches tall must be accompanied by a supervising companion, and all adults must be accompanied by a child.

Shrek's Swamp for Little Ogres height measurement

The height measurement post features drawings of Shrek and Fiona’s triplets — Felicia, Fergus, and Farkle. There are small ogre footprints on the ground, which can also be seen throughout the play area.

Shrek's Swamp for Little Ogres slide

All signage is themed to look like they may have been painted by Shrek and his family. This includes the signs on this slide, which read “Get Lost! In the Fun!” and “Stay clear of slide… or else!”

Shrek's Swamp for Little Ogres outhouse slide

What appears to be an outhouse at first glance is also the entrance to one of the slides. Guests will find that on the way down, the slide makes many different fart noises.

Shrek's Swamp for Little Ogres Pinocchio shack

Within Shrek’s Swamp for Little Ogres, guests will encounter Pinocchio’s Fact Shack. Once the bell is rung, a Pinocchio animatronic will share a fact, but his nose will let you know whether the fact is actually true.

Shrek's Swamp for Little Ogres water blasters

There are water blasters in the wet play area. During our visit, none of the water features in the land were operational.

Shrek's Swamp for Little Ogres ogre dryer

Guests looking to dry off can hop into an “ogre dryer” that features artwork of the Big Bad Wolf and the Three Little Pigs. The side of the dryer reads “I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your clothes dry!”

Fans of “Shrek” have more than just this area to enjoy. There’s also a new Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey meet and greet location; an interactive King Harold play area; and “Shrek”-themed treats. For more, you can check out our full tour of DreamWorks Land ahead of its official grand opening.
