WESH 2 offered a first look at the exclusive Disney Jollywood Nights merchandise that will be available during the event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this year.
Disney Jollywood Nights Merchandise Featuring Ollie
The exclusive Jollywood Nights merchandise that will be available at this year’s event features the event’s mascot, Ollie. Ollie is a gingerbread man who wears a blue jacket, has white icing hair, and loves to play the saxophone. Ollie concept artist Justin Dring states that the gingerbread man was inspired by 1940s and 50s greeting cards.
Ear Headband
One ear of this ear headband features Ollie smiling with an open mouth, while the other depicts Ollie smirking with a closed mouth. Ollie’s brown bow tie sits beneath each ear.
In between the ears is a pleather “Disney Jollywood Nights” patch. It is red, white, and blue, and features presents, stars, and fireworks. Above “Disney Jollywood Nights”, a red, white, and blue marquee reads “Happy Ollie Days”. The headband itself is turquoise.
Spirit Jersey
In the upper left part of the red Spirit Jersey is the red, white, and blue “Happy Ollie Days” marquee. Beneath the marquee is a white sign that features Ollie’s head in the middle of a brown 2024.
A line separates the top half of the shirt from the bottom. While the top half of the Spirit Jersey is solid red, the bottom half features Ollie in various poses. In one, he plays a saxophone. “Disney Jollywood Nights”, red, white, and blue stars, white snowflakes, and musical notes are scattered throughout the pattern.
The sleeves feature the same two designs as the rest of the shirt, with the top half of each sleeve completely red and the bottom half depicting the Ollie pattern.
Christmas Tree Ornament
A photograph features Ollie standing on Sunset Boulevard with a candy cane in one hand. His other hand latches onto a light post decorated with a red, white, and blue star. In the distance, The Hollywood Tower Hotel shines gold, as spotlights shoot into the night sky around it. White stars and a white “Disney Jollywood Nights 2024” fill the sky.
The picture comes inside of a brown “Disney’s Hollywood Studios” frame.
Crossbody Bag
The Ollie crossbody bag is blue, and the small front pocket features a patch of Ollie’s head. Above the small front pocket, “Disney Jollywood Nights 2024” is embroidered in yellow. Stars twinkle around the words.
Exclusive Pin
The exclusive pin features Ollie in his bowtie and blue jacket. He stands atop an old-school golden film marquee that reads “Disney Jollywood Nights” and “Disney’s Hollywood Studios”. A white marquee sprouts from the top of the golden sign. “Ollie” appears vertically inside of it.
Disney Jollywood Nights runs on select nights from November 9 through December 21 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Prices for the event vary based on date. The event runs from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., which is an hour longer than last year’s event, and ticketholders can enter the park as early as 6 p.m.
The event will feature returning entertainment such as “What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along,” “Disney Holidays in Hollywood,” and “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!”, as well as a new ice skating show. More event details can be found here.
