- With Hurricane Milton now a Category 5 storm and projected to hit the Walt Disney World Resort area this Thursday, Disney has announced numerous closures to hotels across Walt Disney World property.
- Construction began at the Reflections Lodge site after the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) permitted Disney to construct a 10-story hotel there.
