We’ve discovered some brand new merch from Disney’s Play in the Park Collection at Walt Disney World, including Christmas ornaments and a Minnie Mouse ear headband.
Mickey Mouse Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Ornament – $24.99
We spotted this ornament at Riverside Depot in Animal Kingdom. The ornament depicts Mickey dressed as a conductor aboard Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Minnie Mouse Dumbo Ornament – $24.99
This ornament that we found at Riverside Depot features Minnie joyfully taking a spin on Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Minnie is wearing her classic red dress and bow, while Dumbo dons a purple hat and cape.
Mickey and Minnie Space Mountain Snowglobe Ornament – $34.99
At Riverside Depot we also found this ornament of Mickey and Minnie taking a ride through the stars on Space Mountain.
The Space Mountain attraction building serves as the base of the ornament. Inside the Mickey-shaped snowglobe are both Mickey and Minnie seated in a purple Space Mountain Rocket as they journey through outer space. The right ear of the snow globe features the Walt Disney World logo. The entire snow globe is covered in firework blasts, some with small Mickeys at the center.
The back of the ornament showcases the artwork of a purple Space Mountain with a rocket soaring around it and a star up above.
Pressed Penny Book – $17.99
We found this pressed penny book at Frontier Trading Post in Magic Kingdom. The front displays the Walt Disney World logo with Chip and Dale in the bottom left of the logo. Various attractions are depicted as well including Dumbo the Flying Elephant, TRON Lightcycle Run, Jungle Cruise, and Tower of Terror.
The book’s interior flaps showcases Mickey and Minnie taking a whirl on the Mad tea Party, while Donald and Goofy zoom through the stars on Space Mountain. Other attractions and icons displayed are Cinderella Castle, the Tree of Life, and Expedition Everest. The inside of the book is lined with a fun pattern showcasing Mickey and the gang enjoying a day playing in the park.
The back of the pressed penny book shows off more Disney icons and attractions including a smiling sun, “it’s a small world,” Soarin’, and Spaceship Earth.
Play in the Park Minnie Ear Headband – $34.99
Another addition to Disney’s Play in the Park collection is this Minnie ear headband we found at Big Top Souvenirs in Magic Kingdom. The front of the ears displays a blue iridescent sequin bow between the ears. The pattern of the ears features many Disney icons and park staples including Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, Tower of Terror, a Mickey ear hat, Dole Whip, and Mickey balloon to name a few.
The backside of the ears displays the same pattern as the front side. There are a few icons in the design you can view better on the back of the ears due to the bow not covering them. These include the Minnie ear headband, Space Mountain, Goofy’s hat, and a teacup.
The headband is blue with the Walt Disney World logo along the side.
