When it comes to catchy songs, the creative minds behind the music for “Frozen 2” can’t seem to Let it Go.
In an interview with Variety, “Frozen” co-director Jennifer Lee said four songs have already been selected for the sequel, including one she described as “an evolution” of the smash from the 2013 film.
“It’s its own song,” Lee said. “Bobby [Lopez] and Kristen [Anderson-Lopez] just delivered it three weeks ago. We’ve been working with them for two years and this song just came in and I love it.”
Lee said “Frozen 2” will feature at least seven new songs, including three that have yet to be selected .
She also teased that the movie will take Elsa (Idina Menzel) and Anna (Kristen Bell) on a “bigger, more epic” journey that will have them going “far out of Arendelle.”
Earlier this month, it was announced that “Frozen 2” would be released five days earlier than originally expected. It is scheduled to hit theaters November 22, 2019.
