Mickey Mouse is ready to celebrate his birthday a bit early as he kicks off his 90th celebration this weekend at Magic Kingdom! From November 16–18, guests can enjoy new entertainment, food and beverages, and merchandise all commemorating the 90th birthday of the infamous mouse. There’re even more offerings around Disneyland and Walt Disney World that you can check out here!
The Tomorrowland Birthday Celebration Dance Party—on November 17 & 18 only—will put you in the celebrating mood with the leader of our club. Also, stop by Town Square Theatre, where you can sign Mickey’s birthday card while wishing him a happy birthday.
Some new food offerings will include a savory burger with a Mickey-branded bun, with added sprinkles for a birthday flare. A Mickey confetti pretzel will also be available.
If you’re looking for something sweet, try out the Birthday Bash Push Pop, filled with birthday cake pastry cream and layered with cake crumbles and buttercream. It’s topped off with glitter sprinkles for that magical pixie dusting. For all the ice cream lovers, a Minnie Kitchen Sink Sundae is also among the festive food offerings.
Guests will be able to purchase limited-edition merchandise to help celebrate Mickey’s 90th anniversary with a brand new collection of “Celebration of the Mouse” in which different Disney artists honor Mickey with prints, gallery wraps, note cards, and a tote. There will also be an artist signing taking place Saturday and Sunday from 6pm–8pm.
New t-shirts and other merchandise will be available to purchase this weekend, as well.
A special pop-up merchandise event at Magic Kingdom Park, exclusively for Annual Passholders, will be held at 7:30am on November 16th.
I called about the pass holder pop up shop on the 16th and no one ad WDW knew about it, is this real?
No one at Disney knew anything about any of the events or merchindise for the Anniversary weekend. I was there Friday morning and ended up leaving with nothing from the pass holder event or anything from the park. It was awful not one cast member acted like they knew a special event was even taking place for that weekend. Did you end up getting anything from the event?
