A mural on a wall of the courtyard features the words “Get Animated!” against a colorful paint splatter background. A hand wearing a Mickey glove holds up a pencil.

Matching graphics are on the banners hanging from the courtyard’s lampposts. Each set includes one solid-colored banner with the “Get Animated!” wordmark and one banner featuring a colorful design.

“Get Animated!” will temporarily replace “Disney Jr. Play and Dance!” The Disney Junior character meet and greets that are usually outside the theater have been moved to Echo Lake. Rolling planters are around the meet and greet spots, where new colorful murals are visible. Above the theater’s exit doors are colorful squares creating a Mickey head icon.

Stacks of paper and cups holding art supplies are pictured on the exit doors. The walls to the right and left resemble shelves stacked with jars of red, blue, purple, pink, and yellow paint.

“Disney Jr. Play and Dance!” will be closed starting on May 25. “Get Animated!” will open on May 27, the same day as “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” also in Animation Courtyard, and “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” in Sunset Showcase.

Colorful painted containers, paint cans with drips, and art supplies decorate a blue wall beside a leafy green planter box.

Animation Courtyard will also have games and crafts to keep kids “moving and creating,” and entertainment like magicians, jump rope performers, and character appearances. The new offerings are part of Cool Kid Summer across Walt Disney World.
