Crews have fixed the leaky ceiling in the brand-new Universal Studios Store expansion of Universal CityWalk Orlando.
Universal Studios Store Ceiling Fixed
The leak was in the Super Nintendo World room, in the corner closest to the Universal Cinemark theater. This storefront used to be Quiet Flight Surf Shop. When the ceiling was leaking, the area was blocked by stanchions and had several trash cans catching water.
The leak has not only been stopped, but the ceiling has also been repaired. Compare our photos above from June 23 and May 13. The ceiling had significant water damage due to the leak, which appeared to be related to rainy weather in mid May.
The Universal Studios Store expansion includes the Super Nintendo World room and an expanded The Wizarding World of Harry Potter room. In addition to Quiet Flight Surf Shop, the store replaced the Cinnabon storefront. A new Cinnabon kiosk is open near Bigfire.
