Second "it's a small world" with Groot Digital Comic Debuting With Overlay Return

The “it’s a small world” with Groot overlay is returning to Tokyo Disneyland, and visitors can enjoy a new original digital comic inspired by the ride.

The comic is called It’s a Small World with Groot: On the Move! and will be available on the Tokyo Disney Resort app. Tokyo Disneyland guests can read the comic after they’ve entered the park by enabling location services, Bluetooth, and push notifications. The app will then display the comic when guests join the “it’s a small world” with Groot queue.

“it’s a small world” closed in November to be transformed and will reopen on December 27 with the overlay, which features Groot vacationing on Earth with his super hero friends. “it’s a small world” with Groot merchandise will be available.

“it’s a small world” with Groot first debuted in January 2025 and ran to June 2025. There was also an exclusive digital comic starring Groot available during the original run.
