Starbucks Animal Kingdom Mystery Pin Tumbler Returns Without DinoLand References

An updated version of the Animal Kingdom Starbucks mystery pin tumbler has arrived without references to the now-defunct DinoLand U.S.A., which closed after operating hours yesterday.

Starbucks Tumbler and Mystery Pins – $54.99

The acrylic Starbucks tumbler features sticker-inspired designs representing different areas of Animal Kingdom. On the front is a prominent image of The Tree of Life above a pennant flag with the Animal Kingdom word mark. There are also floating islands from Pandora, a safari hat, Simba on Pride Rock, and even a DOLE Whip.

On the front is a prominent image of The Tree of Life above a pennant flag with the Animal Kingdom word mark. There are also floating islands from Pandora: The World of Avatar, a safari hat, Simba on Pride Rock, and even a DOLE Whip.

The images continue around the entire tumbler. Some of the other icons are a safari vehicle from Kilamanjaro Safaris, a Banshee, a giraffe, and Kevin the bird from Up. What is noticeably absent is any reference to the former DinoLand area.

These tumblers also come with a two-piece mystery pin set. The set has six pins in total. Each is in the same sticker style, showing icons from Animal Kingdom. These include elephants, safari gear/vehicle from Kilamanjaro Safaris, a Banshee and floating island from Pandora, Kevin from UP, the Pride Lands from The Lion King, and Nemo in reference to Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!

Original Design

For reference, above is the 2025 Animal Kingdom Starbucks mystery pin tumbler. It featured a dinosaur and the Dino Institute seal, in reference to DinoLand U.S.A. One of the original eight possible pin designs was the Carnotaurus from DINOSAUR.

Updated Hollywood Studios Tumbler

A similar updated Starbucks tumbler and mystery pin set was also released at Hollywood Studios last week. The new tumbler and pins no longer have references to MuppetVision 3D and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, which will have its last day of operations on March 1, 2026, before being rethemed to the Muppets. The design also now has Monsters, Inc. icons for the upcoming Monstropolis land.

Location

We spotted these at Riverside Depot in Animal Kingdom.
