The second episode of Universal’s mini series highlighting the themed areas of Universal Kids Resort focuses on Jurassic World Adventure Camp and Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom. The video includes brand-new concept renderings of some of the lands’ attractions.
Jurassic World Adventure Camp

Mr. DNA’s Double Helix Spin is inspired by the animated character from the first Jurassic Park film. This is a Metallbau Emmeln Flying Wheels attraction with gondolas that twist and turn around a tower.

The video offered our first look at Pteranodrop, a pair of small drop towers. In the background of this rendering is the famous Jurassic World entrance archway with a T. rex.

The video showed Jurassic World: Cretaceous Coaster in action for the first time. On this coaster, guests search for the missing Bumpy, an Ankylosaurus from animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.

Guests will also get to play and meet baby Velociraptors at Paddock Play. Universal included footage of the baby Velociraptor puppet sometimes used at other Universal parks.
SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom

One of the attractions in Bikini Bottom is Jellyfish Fields Jamboree, an aerial carousel-style ride like Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Guests will board a Jelly Angler and go jelly-fishing alongside SpongeBob.

We got our first look at Barnacle Bus, a Rockin’ Tug type ride which puts guests on an orange Bikini Bottom bus that spins and slides across a ramp.

Guests will also get to enjoy Bobbing Barrels, a small spinning ride with water cannons featuring Patrick.

Pineapple Paradise will be a water play area featuring SpongeBob’s famous pineapple house.
Not pictured in concept art or videos is Mrs. Puff’s Boating School and Mussel Beach.
