The final piece of track has been installed for the signature coaster of the upcoming Spider-Man roller-coaster at Shanghai Disneyland.

Final Track Piece of Spider-Man Roller-Coaster Installed at Shanghai Disneyland

Disney shared photos of the track piece being installed on Instagram. The track is red, sitting on white supports.

Though the track is complete, it will still be a while before guests can ride the new coaster. It was confirmed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2024 and Disney shared this description:

Peter Parker has gotten himself — and us — in a bit of a tight spot. We’re going to follow HIM – at very high speeds – to get us out of trouble.

Disney also recently shared that Spidey won’t be the only Marvel character in the land. They said there will be “Spider-Man and friends-themed shopping, food and beverage, and entertainment experiences.”

The new land officially broke ground with a ceremony held on May 19, 2025. Leaders from Shanghai Disney Resort and shareholder representatives were there to celebrate the groundbreaking on the new land, which will be located adjacent to Zootopia.
