Crews are refurbishing the roof of the Jurassic Park River Adventure adventure and the ride’s exit gift shop in Universal Islands of Adventure. Photographer @bioreconstruct shared pictures of the refurbishment work on X.
Jurassic Park River Adventure Refurbishment

Old roofing has been stripped from the Jurassic Park River Adventure entrance, leaving black sheathing below exposed. Some of the tan shingles and green tiles remain on the roof’s spire. Below is what the roof looked like before the ride closed.

Jurassic Park River Adventure closed in early January for an 11-month refurbishment.

Tiles and shingles have also been removed from Jurassic Outfitters, the ride’s exit gift shop. It’s covered in what appears to be fresh weather-proof sheathing.
A few months ago, we saw the Jurassic Park River Adventure ride track being replaced.
