Crews are repainting the Cinderella Castle stage in Magic Kingdom as the stage show, Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire, suspends performances this week.
Cinderella Castle Stage Repainting

The first few feet of the stage have been painted a fresh solid gray. The back half is being prepped for new paint.

Black lines outline the flooring panels. They appear to have been buffed to remove old paint and scuffs.

The steps and platforms on the sides of the stage also look freshly painted.

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire is not performing from July 7 through July 14. Prior to the closure, a shortened version was being performed due to high heat.
The show features Mickey and Friends, The Princess and the Frog characters, Tangled characters, and Frozen characters performing iconic Disney songs. It is performed 5 or 6 times a day between 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Check the Walt Disney World website or My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date showtimes.
