Started from a tiny purple flag, now we’re here.
It appears work is progressing on Club 33 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park, with scrim-covered fencing now up bordering the entire area where the proposed club is set to be built. With the other three locations now open (Captain’s Quarters at the Magic Kingdom, Spotlight Lounge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Constellation Club at Epcot), we’re excited that Disney’s Animal Kingdom is also getting in on the Club 33 action. Not like we’d ever be able to get in.
Located in the vicinity of Festival of the Lion King (somewhere to the left of it on an elevated piece of land), the Club will be found on the walkway between Africa and Pandora. The location will be perched upon this hill, overlooking Africa with sights of the Tree of Life offered from afar.
You can see the construction by the gap in the foliage.
The fencing spans a rather large area, so they may be clearing even more land for the addition.
While all we have now is this view of green scrim, Disney is intending to have the Club 33 location at Disney’s Animal Kingdom open by year’s end.
