After much discussion, we finally know the maximum capacity for the Disney Skyliner gondolas, including wheelchair capacity. Each gondola will be able to accommodate up to 10 guests maximum, with 5 guests sitting on each bench.

According to the signs, guests will be required to remain seated at all times, indicating seating on the gondola may be a little cozy at times.

Gondolas fitted to accommodate wheelchairs, ECVs, or other mobility devices will only seat a maximum of up to six guests. Mobility aids and strollers must fit within a 30” x 48” area for access.

Further warnings on the sign recommend guests with a fear of heights to not ride. Also, operating hours “vary depending on weather”.

The gondola fleet will include a total of 300 gondolas that will offer sweeping views of the property. A typical ride on the Skyliner system is set to take between five to 15 minutes, depending on your destination.
