Earlier today, an oversized truck passed through the Epcot entrance toll booth carrying some very precious cargo. Could it be a new Tomorrowland sign? From the way the pictures look (thanks to Sea Base Adam for the photos), it sure looks that way.

Those two arches will be based on the ground, holding the circular Tomorrowland marquee in place in the middle.

You may recall back in July of this year that we reported on a leaked new Tomorrowland sign, featuring a newly redesigned font, and it seems that day has finally come as the two fonts look very similar.

As for why the Tomorrowland sign is heading through the Epcot toll booth, our guess is that it’s being held in the lot until park hours have ended for the night before heading out for installation in the coming days.

What do you guys think of the new signage? I think it brings a whole new feel to the land, and I can’t wait to see it installed in the park!

  1. Tomorrowland exists in WDW’s Magic Kingdom. But you reported that the new Tomorrowland sign was being delivered to EPCOT. As such, the story doesn’t make sense… other than being a careless “faux pas”. Some one needs to pay attention.

    • Did you bother to read the article? “As for why the Tomorrowland sign is heading through the Epcot toll booth, our guess is that it’s being held in the lot until park hours have ended for the night before heading out for installation in the coming days.”
