Donut-mania has arrived at Disney Springs! Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew has officially opened on the West Side, bringing a variety of sweet treats, sandwiches, and specialty beverages. Let’s take a full tour! (Note: While this review covers most of the sweet, coffee-and-pastry breakfast selections, don’t miss out on our review of Everglazed’s savory sandwiches and loaded fries, plus even more donuts and coffee not included in this review!)
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew Exterior
A virtual queue has also been implemented to help manage crowds, with only a small area for guests ready to order.
Virtual and physical menus are both available.
You can actually see the workers making the donuts through the large windows.
They also have a neat sign which shows what flavors they currently have.
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew Interior
Items are baked daily in limited batches, so aspiring tasters should be advised to get there as early as possible for the largest selection. Guests are allowed to purchase a maximum of two dozen donuts per person.
There’s a giant donut photo op for guests looking to get that perfect social media picture.
The menus also line the walls of the counters, so there are plenty of opportunities to figure out your selection.
For those looking to share, forks and knives are also available.
There’s some seating inside, but there’s more spots for groups on the patio, also known as the “donut garden.”
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew Donut Garden
The patio area has several tables and picnic benches for larger parties.
Strings of lights drape from the top of the canopy, which should make this a pretty place in the evening, too.
In case it gets chilly, there’s also a warming lamp on the grassy space.
But now it’s time to check out the eclectic menu!
Beverages
Reese’s Nitro — $10.00
This nitro cold brew coffee is made with peanut butter and vanilla syrups, and topped with chocolate drizzle, crushed Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and a Peanut Butter Explosion donut.
This was much appreciated. It’s definitely the drink to grab when you’re eating all the sweet donuts. It doesn’t really taste like a peanut butter cup, but you can taste the peanuts in the coffee. It might sound weird, but it’s a good salty thing.
The peanut butter flavor is subtle. We could taste it, but not very much. The coffee isn’t too sweet, so it’s great.
Spiked Cinnamon Toast Coffee — $10.00
In the shop’s signature drink, cold brew coffee is combined with cream, Irish cream, coffee and cinnamon cordials, caramel syrup, and topped with whipped cream to make this boozy beverage.
This was a perfect holiday beverage. We wished we could’ve tasted more of the coffee, though.
We’re fans of coffee liqueur, but the cinnamon flavor is stronger.
If you’re not a big drinker but want to try this, it’s really easy to drink.
Donuts
Purple Glazed Ube — $4.50
This is a hard one to describe. It has a softer texture than a standard glazed donut, though the flavor profile is very similar.
It’s sweet, but not overly sugary, which means the taste is definitely ube. But you probably wouldn’t know it’s ube unless you had taro or ube before. For those who don’t know what taro is, it’s a purple yam, popular in Japanese desserts and soft serve ice cream, known for its earthy sweetness. This is currently the only vegan donut on the menu, so keep that in mind when ordering.
Peanut Butter Explosion — $5.50
The chocolate iced donut is topped with peanut butter chips, crushed Reese’s Cups and chocolate peanut butter frosting. We couldn’t taste the peanut butter cups unless we were specifically eating that topping. You can taste the chocolate first, but overall, it was more like a peanut butter donut with chocolate accents. If you’re a peanut butter fan, you’ll probably love it.
Mounds Coconut Dream — $5.50
This consists of a coconut-almond iced donut, toasted coconut, chopped Mounds, cream cheese frosting and a vanilla icing drizzle.
To accommodate the frosting, there’s no hole in this donut.
We could taste Waikiki Beach in our mouth when trying this.
The cream cheese frosting had a buttery taste. It’s kind of heavy, but the coconut definitely helps cut through it. Luckily, there’s a whole lot of coconut here.
Oreo Supreme — $5.50
If you like Oreos, this is the one for you. A vanilla iced donut is topped with crushed Oreos and vanilla frosting to make this treat.
They say it’s vanilla-flavored, but we couldn’t taste it in the donut.
Thankfully, the Oreo helps, but this was our least favorite that we tried. There are better options here.
Donut Holes — $5.00
The donut holes only come in plain glazed, so this might not be the best choice for someone who wants to try multiple flavors.
The top has an Everglazed sticker, just to remind you where you got this from. But in case you need a reminder why Everglazed is different from other donut shops, their glaze is made with brown sugar, which is amazing.
They don’t taste like a normal glazed donut… in a very good way.
Sandwiches
Classic Egg & Cheese — $8.00 (available on griddled glazed donut for $1.00 extra)
This sandwich features two eggs topped with American cheese, served on a sweet bun, though you can upgrade to a griddled glazed donut for an additional dollar, which we’ve done.
If you wait too long, the donut will stick to the paper.
Normally, we’re not fans of sweet and salty together, but we can forgive them for this. This makes for an excellent combination. The cheese and the donut was an amazing combination, making this sandwich worthwhile. It’s really, really good.
