Today, on our trip to EPCOT, we are checking out the status of the new La Gelateria stand which is coming soon to the Italy Pavilion. This new quick-service location is led by the Patina Restaurant Group and will serve delicious gelato when it opens. There has been some progress since our previous visit and the stand is getting closer to making its grand debut.
The new stand is still behind construction walls as work is being completed.
The stonework and terracotta roofing almost looks to be completed now.
The new design elements matches the Italy Pavilion’s current theme well.
The butterfly photo-op for the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts still remains on the construction walls for those who wish to stop and take a picture.
La Gelateria is located on the American Adventure side of the pavilion, next to Joffrey’s. The booth is set to open sometime later this month.
