Cast members are being called back to Disney California Adventure before the new ticketed event in the park opens in March, but now we have some idea what venues will be operating. That event will focus on food and beverage offerings, merchandise, and unique entertainment experiences.
Food & beverage cast members are currently being called back for then Cars Land, Pacific Wharf, Pixar Pier and Grizzly Peak Airfield lands. There will also be cast members called back for six festival-style booths. Buena Vista Street will also partake in the event according to the release.

Buena Vista Street operations being included does lend some credence to the rumor that Main Street U.S.A. may soon be reopening to support guest demand for shopping and dining options beyond what is currently available in Downtown Disney. Disney is still yet to announce this.

This is a very hopeful opportunity for us Californians. The Disney magic will soon be available even more and the outlook for the future looks very promising. As for us Northern California residents, I feel this unfortunately isn’t a big enough draw to make the 6 hour drive down south. Hopefully summer time will bring us rides and even more opportunities for magical experiences. Remember, for us to come down is a fairly pricey deal – gas, hotel, food and fun, and now the new AP’s/park tickets – it all adds up. We’ll be patient and wait for summer to hopefully enjoy the upmost Disney magic possible.
We are visiting mid March and my fingers are so crossed!!!!
Us too! I’m hoping to get tickets to the event tho. I have no idea where to get them from…
Yes, but it’s time to fully reopen both parks!
Do you know when tickets go on sale?
Not yet.
EEEExcited for DCA Festival! I hope I can get in, tho …
Also EEExcited for the possible opening for Main Street USA, too!!
I miss main Street the most of all parts of Disneyland + DCA.
I can’t wait for the great news!
