Disney Cruise Line has now extended its “Cruise Date Flexibility” offer through May 31, 2021. This means changes can be made to any sailings booked by May 31, 2021, for cruises departing through October 31, 2021. Disney Cruise Line first announced the flexible offer in June 2020 with an end date of August 31, 2020. However, the temporary policy has been extended multiple times since. Details on the extended “Cruise Date Flexibility” offer are listed below.
Important Information:
- Guests who have booked before May 31, 2021 have the ability to change their sail date up to 15 days prior to embarkation.
- Guests scheduled to sail on or before October 31, 2021 may take advantage of this offer.
- Guests who wish to change their sail date must move to a future sailing that commences prior to September 30, 2022. Standard prevailing rates will apply.
- Guests cannot change their reservation back to the original sail date after taking advantage of this offer.
- Should you cancel your new sail date, any cancellation fees applicable to the original sail date will be deferred and applied as a minimum cancellation fee to the future sailing.
- Standard air cancellation fees apply for Guests who booked flights through Disney Cruise Line.
In addition, for sailings through September 2021, Guests are able to make their final payment until up to 60 days prior to sailing.
While all reservations booked on summer 2021 UK Disney Magic at Sea sailings qualify for Cruise Date Flexibility, the policy for those sailings is slightly different.
Cruise Date Flexibility for 2021 UK Disney Magic at Sea Sailings:
- For UK Disney Magic at Sea sailings, the deadline for final payment is extended until 30 days prior to sailing (excluding bookings for Stateroom Categories with Restrictions).
- For UK Disney Magic at Sea sailings, guests who cancel before the final payment deadline can receive a full refund without Disney-imposed cancellation fees, excluding select room categories.
- Guests can change their sail date without amendment fees up to 7 days prior to departure. Standard prevailing rates will apply.
- Within 14 days of the sailing, booked Guests with qualifying COVID-19-related concerns can receive a full refund without Disney-imposed cancellation fees or apply their cruise fare toward a future sail date. Standard prevailing rates will apply.
