As we reported it would last month, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom is now closed for refurbishment.
The entrances and exits are blocked off and a Cast Member stood outside to answer questions.
According to signs, there’s been a mountain goat infestation at the mine.
Thankfully, we know this infestation will be cleared up soon. The refurbishment is only scheduled to last through June 12 and the attraction will reopen on June 13.

It suck even worse for AP holders. They treat us terrible also. Can’t get reservations to get into the parks. The only open up scraps at 2pm for us.
It would seems that the people that over sees Disney’s operations would give price breaks because of so much that’s happening or not happening, but in the same breath they aren’t in it for the families it’s ALL business and that’s what matters most.
Was at Disney World in April. Everyone was friendly and nice. No mask walking around was great. Will be better as everything opens back up. Be friendly and people will be nice.
