Marvel’s Black Widow has finally hit theaters and Disney+. To celebrate the film’s release, D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs has two limited-time Black Widow-inspired items: a milkshake and a hamburger.
Black Widow Shake – $9.99
Vanilla Gelato blended with Morello Cherry Purée, Cayenne Pepper, and Lime with layers of Chocolate Chiffon Cake topped with a Red Velvet Cake Pop
Despite the shake’s violently red color, the cherry flavor is almost indiscernible. The cake, of which there is a lot, is the second most dominant flavor.
The most dominant flavor is unfortunately the cayenne pepper. It’s not good.
The taste of the pepper lingers and stays in the back of your throat. The black sugar melts and stains everything.
The ingredients list lime, but we didn’t see or taste that at all.
Do not get this shake.
Black Widow Burger – $13.49
Signature-blend Beef Patty with Widow’s Bite Scotch Bonnet Sauce, Ninja Radish Slaw, Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato, Grilled Onions
We didn’t have high hopes for the burger, but it was actually okay.
We felt that the spice dominated the other flavors. We couldn’t taste the slaw, so tried it separately. It was carrot-heavy, but still a nice vinegar-based slaw.
The burger patty was more done and dry than we would have liked. We couldn’t taste the onions either, just the meat and spice.
The bun didn’t taste any different just because it was black.
With a drink nearby (not the shake), this burger is doable. It was ultimately disappointing because it just tasted like spicy meat, but it’s not terrible.
We didn’t like the presentation, which just looked gross. We wouldn’t get this burger again.

Wow, knowing that it’s the “Black Widow” shake, its “violently red color” looks to me like somebody’s blended liver.
