Broadcast networks air reruns for most of the summer. Fortunately for streamers, Disney+ will keep new content coming even in the heat of summer. Let’s take a look at Disney+ content for July 2021.

Friday, July 2

Monsters At Work (PREMIERE)

The premiere picks up where Monsters, Inc. left off, soon after discovering that laughter is more powerful than screams. The computer animated series is set in Monstropolis and features old and new characters.

The Mysterious Benedict Society (Episode 2)

Based on the books of the same name by Trenton Lee Stewart, the second episode streams one week after the premiere. The cast includes Tony Hale and Kristen Schaal.

High School Musical: The Musical — The Series (Season 2, Episode 8)

The Wild Cats continue singing and dancing through the second season. Episode details have not yet been released.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch (Episode 10)

Star Wars bad Batch

The experimental clones continue to work their way around a Galaxy that is now in the hands of the Galactic Empire.

Monday, July 5

Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted (Iceland)

Chef Ramsay visits Iceland in this season three episode. According to a National Geographic press release:

Gordon Ramsay heads to the land of fire and ice during the Icelandic summer to learn secret cooking techniques utilizing the volcanic landscape. He fishes in a glacial river for wild salmon and cooks bread in geothermally heated soil before heading north to the sparsely populated Westfjords. After sampling fermented shark and diving for scallops in the freezing fjords, he joins Iceland’s first Michelin-rated chef, Ragnar Eiríksson, for a feast in a rainstorm.

Black Widow (PREMIERE)

Black Widow

Nearly a year after its original premiere date, Scarlett Johansson returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. To view Black Widow, Disney+ customers must purchase premier access for $29.99. As we reported, theater owners are not happy with Disney’s decision to stream Black Widow.

Turner & Hooch (PREMIERE)

Josh Peck stars in this reboot of the 1989 Tom Hanks feature film. Peck plays Scott Turner Jr., son of the character Hanks played. Turner’s partner is an unruly dog named Hooch. The duo tries to uncover the mystery around Turner Sr.’s death.

Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted (Mexico)

Gordon Ramsay discovers the culinary secrets of the country’s legendary Oaxaca region, where mole reigns supreme. In addition to learning to make the storied chocolate- and chili-infused sauce, Gordon must rappel down a cliff in search of delicious butter worms, harvest the honey sacs from burrowing ants and fend off angry wasps in search of their coveted larva. In his effort to measure up to acclaimed Mexico City chef Gabriela Cámara, he will also engage in the punishing physical process of harvesting agave plants to make mescal.

  1. This isn’t everything coming in July. It’s everything announced so far. There’s still library titles that haven’t been announced which is the bulk of each month.

    What a stupid clickbait and inaccurate article.
