With the reopening of the EPCOT Monorail line, we can now get a bird’s eye view of the many construction projects ongoing at the park. Today we took a look at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
The front of the building was covered in blue sheeting a few months ago, and the final paneling has yet to be installed.
While the site in front of the building is mostly dirt, some short wooden and concrete walls outline where plants will encircle the Xandarian ship.
The foundation of the ship was completed a month ago, while the ship itself is likely being constructed offsite.
Though there have been stylistic changes to the building’s façade, the concept art above still reflects what the final attraction will roughly look like from the outside.
Construction has turned the grassy area ahead of the Universe of Energy Pavilion into a swamp, but this will all be cleaned up before the attraction opens.
From the ground, we checked out the decorative paneling being added to the roof.
The first two rows of paneling have been installed, with the corners now filled in.
